Lex Analitik Training Centre would like to invite you to attend a seminar on “Environmental Law. Covering Environmental Inspections, Production Waste Disposal Regulations, and Environmental Damage Assessment” to be held on 9-10 December, 2011 in Almaty.

Objective of the seminar is to provide an understanding of the latest amendments and additions introduced to Environmental Law, prepare participants for environmental inspections carried out by authorised state bodies, and protect their rights as users of natural resources.

We are also striving to create a dialogue between regulatory state authorities and users of natural resources. At the seminar you will have an opportunity to ask questions and receive practical answers from representatives of state regulatory authorities.

The following aspects will be examined at the seminar:
•    Law on State Control and Supervision. Issues concerning its practical application
•    Environmental regulatory practices and protection of rights and interests of users of natural resources
•    Environmental inspection procedures performed by state regulatory authorities
•    Legal Liability for violation of Environmental Laws
•    Penalties for environmental damage and compensation liabilities

Detailed consideration of the following practices will assist participants in putting acquired knowledge to full use:
•    Standard inspection procedures carried out by Departments of State Control for Emergency Situations  
•    Standard inspection procedures carried out by Environmental Control Committee
•    European Union practices regarding environmental damage compensation

A role-play exercise will be undertaken to ensure better learning process.
