Amendments affecting the Licensing System

Amendments introduced to certain legal acts regulating the Licensing System

The President of Kazakhstan ratified the Law ‘On the Introduction of Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan Relating to the Improvement of its Licensing System’.

The Law aims to improve and develop the Licensing System and to cut out any red tape. It has cut 331 licences out of a total 1015.

The draft Law was prepared by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in partnership with the Business Environment Improvement Project of USAID in Kazakhstan (BEI) and the Kazakhstan Entrepreneurs' Forum.
