Lex Analitik hosted a seminar on ‘Legal regulation of pharmaceutical practice and the circulation of medicines, healthcare products and medical equipment in the Republic of Kazakhstan’.

The Seminar has been divided into three separate modules:

Pharmaceutical practice

• Laws regulating pharmaceutical practice;
• Licensing

Medicines, healthcare products and medical equipment:

• State registration, certification, labeling and advertising;
• Wholesale and retail trade, handling and storage, export/import and termination;
• Rules regulating movement of medicines within the Customs Union.

Powers of the competent state authorities

• The powers of the competent state authorities, regulating the pharmaceutical sector, upon examination of a business’s compliance with the relevant legislative acts, standards, rules and regulations, governing the circulation of medicines in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Representatives of the Department of non-tariff regulation and export control, as well as a specialist from the Control Office of the Customs Control Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were invited to attend as independent experts.
