In view of the NEW RULES which establishes quotas and TERMS for granting employers permits to employ foreign workers, which has been adopted by the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lex Analitik Training Centre would like to invite you to attend our seminar on “Foreign workers in Kazakhstan: EVERYTHING an employer should know”, to be held on February 15-16th, 2012 in Almaty.

The purpose of the Seminar is to examine new rules of setting up quotas for attracting foreign workers and new terms and procedures for granting employers permits for foreign workers, changes introduced to Immigration and Employment Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2012; to help you to gain a greater understanding of the potential problems and challenges local companies might face when employing foreign workers, and to establish effective personnel policies within your organization.

• Tripartite / trilateral agreement (Kazakhstan – Russian Federation – Belarus) on the legal status of migrant workers and their family members enacted from January 1st, 2012.
• Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on ‘On migration of the population’ adopted on July 25th, 2011.
• Changes introduced to the procedure of attracting foreign employees;
• The employment of foreign workers, from the procedures for obtaining working visas and permits to employ foreign labour through to the signing of a contract of employment
• HR records management, the procedure of remuneration for foreign workers, payment of travel expenses and taxation of the employment income of foreign employees;
• The rules applied to foreign nationals while residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• The liability for the violation of the procedures for employing and using foreign workers as prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Changes and amendments to the above procedures and rules introduced by the newly adopted legislation.
